Institute

Founded in 2004, the Information Systems Institute (IWI) has a long tradition in Leipzig in the form of individual professorships and today comprises of four professorships, a Faculty Service Centre IT and a total of about 40 employees.

IWI offers a Bachelor's and a Master's degree programme in business informatics and pursues numerous third-party funded projects. To achieve this, IWI cooperates with many renowned practical companies as well as national and international research institutes.
