The professorship has been installed in cooperation with the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ. Our research focusses on the economic analysis of policies managing energy transitions nationally and internationally. Our research is embedded into the Junior Research Group MultiplEE.
The energy transition is essential to achieve the German climate targets. We are investigating how renewable energies can be expanded in the most environmentally friendly way possible - with due consideration for people, nature and landscape.
