The kick-off workshop of the Start2train project, which is funded as part of the InnoVET-PLUS funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), took place on 10 December 2024 and was organised and led by the Institute of Business Education and Management Training at Leipzig University.

Together with our practice and project partners, we held intensive discussions on further measures to activate and support start-ups in dual training programmes.

Many thanks to the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and the Gutenberg Digital Hub as well as the SEPT Competence Center at Leipzig University for the exciting contributions on possible ways to inspire start-ups for the project. Further thanks goes to the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, which will provide scientific support for our project, and to the Qualifizierungszentrum Region Riesa, which will assist us with practical questions.

The cross-model region exchange has provided important impulses for the next steps in the project and was therefore a complete success! The kick-off workshop marks the start of our collaboration in the network. We are looking forward to the joint project work and the results that we will achieve together.
