The world's most important conference on information systems, the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), took place this December in Copenhagen under the motto "Digitization for the next generation" (https://icis2022.aisconferences.org/). With Prof. Rainer Alt and substitute professor Dr. Christoph Peters, two WIFA business informatics experts were actively represented.

Prof. Alt, as Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Electronic Markets - The International Journal on Networked Business", organized a corresponding editorial meeting and, as a founding member and Chairman of the association "Die Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI) e.V.", hosted a corresponding workshop.

As president-elect of the Special Interest Group Services (SIG Services) of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Dr. Peters hosted the pre-conference workshop "Intelligent Services and Information Systems" and contributed a thematic impulse entitled "Human-Centricity enabled by Artificial Intelligence: Insights from the IT Support Services Sector". He was also able to place two ICIS conference papers with his co-authors:
