New White Paper on "Solution Labs"

  • The sixth issue titled Solution Labs as a Method of the Open Innovation Approach explores how the establishment of Solution Labs can empower companies and local authorities to effectively address challenges related to vacant commercial spaces, skills shortages, and digitalization demands while fostering sustainability.
    Authored by two of our employed students and active SolutionLabs participants Luisa Biering & Max Wegener together with the third author Lena Victoria Möller from the WISI GmbH (Werkstadt für Integration und Soziale Innovation), the paper highlights the Solution Lab as open innovation and uses two exemplary labs from the cities of Reutlingen and Seelow to explore the method.
    With the sixth issue we continue to open our Whitepaper Series to our students, allowing them to already participate in the publication of papers stemming from our academic ecosystem at the Universität Leipzig.
