With the programme "exceed", the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports the establishment of international higher education networks on three continents with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Our project of the African Centre for Career Enhancement & Skills Support (ACCESS) of the International SEPT Program has been selected and will received financial support.

The main goal in establishing and developing the African Centre for Career Enhancement & Skills Support is to strengthen existing cooperation among the partner universities in Africa and Leipzig University for Sustainable Development. The network acts as an interface for the universities of the African continent and partner organisations of development cooperation in the global South.

The Centre works in four thematic areas: Capacity building to promote employability at universities, the promotion of the university economy, employability research in the African context and the already established African German Entrepreneurship Academy.
