Kraftakt Energiewende (Feat of Energy Transition)
The decarbonization of the energy supply envisaged by the German government is associated with major challenges for the energy industry and energy policy. At the same time, this creates opportunities for innovative technologies in the field of using renewable energies, for increasing energy efficiency and for increasing the integration of the energy supply through sector coupling processes.
The questions and problems of the system transformation that are currently most urgently discussed in public are to be addressed and discussed within the framework of the lecture series "Kraftakt Energiewende - Chancen und Risiken der Transformation". Since the first series of events in 2011, the series has established itself as a permanent fixture both at the University of Leipzig and in Leipzig's energy science and business community.
The lecture series takes place in the winter semester, on Tuesday evenings between 7pm and 9pm in Lecture Hall 1 at the University of Leipzig (Augustusplatz, Campus Lecture Hall Building, Universitätsstraße, 04109 Leipzig). For information on dates, topics and speakers, please see the programme.
