We are proud to present the three winning teams of the "BioInnovate Saxony Competition"

Leipzig University, represented by the Start-up initiative SMILE, and Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (SBG) are promoting start-up activities in the life science sectors of biotech, medtech and foodtech through the "BioInnovate Saxony" competition in cooperation with biosaxony Management GmbH.

We would like to congratulate the three selected winning teams in this year's “BioInnovate Saxony - Competition”, which were presented to the public at the Leipzig Founder Night on November 19, 2024:

The winners of the “BioInnovate Saxony” competition now have the opportunity to receive up to 300,000 euros in investment capital from Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (SBG). In addition to the winning teams, which are now in concrete negotiations for funding, the finalists of the competition also included the start-up project AI Driven Therapeutics and Inclusive Gaming GmbH, both supported by SMILE.

The next round of the competition will start in Q2 2025.
