The Leipzig Founders' Night is a networking and award event for the regional start-up scene and acts as an important forum for innovative business ideas, successful start-ups and the exchange of experiences between entrepreneurs in the City of Leipzig and the districts of Leipzig and North Saxony. The aim is to promote a positive climate for start-ups in our region and to encourage self-employment. The Leipzig Founders' Night 2023 is organized by the partners City of Leipzig, SMILE - die gründungsinitiative, the districts of Leipzig and North Saxony, the Stadt- und Kreissparkasse Leipzig and Startbahn 13 - Die Gründungsberatung at the HTWK Leipzig.
Leipzig University’s start-up initiative SMILE is a program to support entrepreneurship, start-ups and spin-off companies at regional, national and international level. The SMILE entrepreneurship promotion focuses on research and knowledge-intensive businesses in the fields of biotechnology, healthcare and technology, but also on culture and creative industries, communication, sustainability and social issues.
