The SEPT Competence Center and the Alumni team that developed the project are excited to announce that applications are open for the International Germany Alumni Training Seminar: Alumni4RD (Alumni for Regional Development through Agroecology), hosted by the SEPT Competence Center at Leipzig University and supported by the DAAD.

This unique opportunity brings together Germany Alumni from the Global South to enhance skills, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and explore solutions for sustainable regional economic development. Highlights include expert-led sessions, networking events, and participation in the renowned Tropentag 2025 conference.

Who Should Apply?
Germany Alumni with:

  • Experience in agriculture, agro-processing, sustainability, renewable energy, or related fields.
  • A passion for innovation and community-led regional development.
  • The ability to act as a multiplier of knowledge in their home countries.

Eligibility: Open to German university alumni from DAC-listed countries who studied, researched, or worked in Germany for at least three months.
