Objectives
The goal of the lectures on international economics is to explain the causes and consequences of international trade. The students will learn the importance of absolute and comparative advantage in understanding international trade, and they will become familiar with the system of international finance and payments. The meaning of concepts such as the balance of payments and the current account will also be explained. The students will be fully equipped to understand the contemporary issues involved in international economic relations.
