Abstract

The Big Data phenomenon gains more and more attention by companies. The mostly targeted analyses focus inter alia on data streams coming from social media or sensors. This data is to enable e.g. building detailed characteristics of objects, called information profiles. These profiles can be associated to people, things or processes and applied in various scenarios. Such profiles enable for dealing with information overload or provision of personalized products or services.
