“Entrepreneurial Insights – the practical talk with Christian Albert Jacke and guests”
From university spin-off to global player – a biotechnology success story from Leipzig
From science to business in life sciences and medtech: How do you turn cutting-edge research into a successful global company? What hurdles do founders have to overcome?
At our first Entrepreneurial Insights meetup event, we welcome Dr. Marc Struhalla, co-founder, CEO, and managing director of c-LEcta – one of the most successful life sciences spin-offs from Leipzig University.
After studying Biochemistry at Leipzig University, he completed his doctorate at the University of Hamburg. He then returned to Leipzig University, where he founded c-LEcta. He has more than 15 years of experience in product development and commercialization in the field of industrial biotechnology and has successfully established and concluded numerous strategic alliances with industry partners.
Dr. Marc Struhalla tells his personal story: how he ventured from studying biochemistry to research and then to founding his own company. He talks about the challenges of starting a business in the life sciences and medtech cluster, building strategic alliances with industry partners, and finally the successful exit with global player Kerry Group.
Be inspired by his journey, gain valuable insights into the world of biotech startups, and take the opportunity to ask your questions directly to a successful founder!
Participation is free of charge. Please register.
