The research colloquium is a monthly activity as part of a community that we are building for PhD and Master Students who are alumni and participate in SEPT international activities or programs. We are building for PhD and Master Students who are alumni and participate in SEPT international activities or programs. You can also meet DAAD fellows and alumni here.

Our research community is very international; our members come from more than 12 countries. Some are professionals who have been doing research for many years, while others are just starting out. Despite their different backgrounds, they all share the common goal of sharing knowledge and building a strong community to help each other.

The initiative was created in 2020, and that year the attendees actively participated and formed a colloquium organizing committee that took responsibility for organizing the colloquium. This was an opportunity to create a community of professional researchers who support each other and foster a culture of collaborative research among participants.

Topics include learning a holistic approach to research methods, communication and presentation skills, publishing proposals and journal articles, networking opportunities, and sharing research experiences and difficulties.

The Research Colloquium is not only providing participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas, present their research, gain access to a network of young researchers and opportunities for collaboration, but also to receive constructive feedback from international experts from countries such as Germany, Nigeria, Zambia and Namibia.

This Wednesday, November 30, is the 24th session of the Research Colloquium, which will focus on guidelines for selecting research samples. We look forward to more editions of the Research Colloquium, which has become a regular monthly event.

Stay tuned for more updates.
