The Institute of Business Education and Management Training offers targeted measures in cooperation with the international SEPT Program to integrate foreign students in the regional labour market. Thus shall react the lack of specialists at the Saxon Labour Market and also acquire previous unused potential of foreign graduates.

The results of a study based on interviews with foreign students out of 14 countries show that the target group have a need of information especially of application processes, career options, working culture, labour law and government benefits. The project is tied up to this results.

Transparency, understanding and acceptance for the German Labour Market and its characteristics will be caused in workshops and discussions under the topic of 'Introduction in the German Working Culture', especially concerning application modalities, hierarchies, management styles, workforce representation and labour rights.

Furthermore there are specific application trainings and visits at companies. The students get the opportunity to get in contact with potential employers and to tie up with the regional labour market. The purpose is to support the integration of foreign students in the German Society and Labour Market.

The offer is addressed to international students at Leipzig's Universities, Doctoral Candidates and all other interested parties.
