Bachelor of Science in Information Science

This interdisciplinary degree programme enables its graduates to effectively support processes within and between companies with information technology (IT). Almost every company uses IT systems and often competitive advantages can only be achieved with the aid of IT systems. To this end, Information Systems combines relevant content from the fields of computer science, economics and management science, law, statistics and mathematics.

The focus is on methods for the development, selection and implementation of operational application systems, knowledge of the functionality of these systems as well as knowledge of the Internet, system architectures and software development. The degree programme opens up a broad spectrum of work activities from software development to working in companies in a wide range of industries and management consultancies. Furthermore, it represents the necessary qualification for the corresponding Master's degree programme.
